I've known Larry since the beginning of his career in showing dogs. My mom bred German Shepherds for many years and when Larry started and all through his career he was passionate about the breed. So my Mom and I got to know him quite well as he would often show her dogs for her. My Mom died of Alzheimers in 2018 and Larry was such a huge help in my healing. Always giving me a famous Larry hug or fist bump. I considered him a dear friend and wanted to do something in his memory. So when I heard about his foundation supporting juniors, something I'm also passionate about, I knew I had to do something. I asked for and received most of his clothes, of which there were many, because I knew that he was well known by his flamboyant outfits. We all waited on baited breath to see what he was wearing each day. I had just started a Memory Bear sewing course online and it hit me that this was the PERFECT way to show support with flamboyant little bears while also giving everyone the opportunity to own a little piece of our dear friend. Larry will be missed so much by so many but hopefully having one of these bears puts a smile on your face every time you see it. I know Larry has a smile on his and is looking down giving me a hug and a fist bump. Thank you for all the support of this project.
